Alfredo Sauce


A creamy, delicious, sauce that goes wonderfully over pasta, veggies, chicken, alfredo pizza...I could go on and on and on....

1/2 cup butter
2 cloves minced garlic
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
salt to taste
garlic powder to taste

Melt butter in sauce pan over medium/low heat.  Add garlic, cream, and pepper.  Simmer and stir often until it comes to a light boil.  Add parmesan cheese and simmer for 8-10 minutes until thick and smooth.  When thick, add mozzarella cheese and stir constantly.  When cheese is melted and sauce is smooth again, remove from heat and add to your favorite dish.
