Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

If you enjoy peanut butter cups as much as I do, THIS is the trifle for you.  So, so good!

1 9x13 pan of baked brownies, cooled and cut into 1-inch pieces (I prefer Ghiradelli mixes.)
1 (5.1oz.) package of vanilla instant pudding
3 cups milk
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (16oz.) container cool whip or homemade whipped cream
20 regular sized peanut butter cups, crumbled (NOT mini ones)
6-8 peanut butter cups to garnish

Combine pudding and milk.  Beat for 2 minutes.  Add peanut butter and vanilla.  Beat until smooth and creamy.  Gently fold in 2 cups of cool whip or homemade whipped cream.

To a trifle bowl, layer half of the brownie cubes, half of the crumbled peanut butter cups, and half of the pudding mixture.  Repeat.  Top with whipped cream and garnish with additional crumbled peanut butter cups.  Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
