Chocolate Striped Delight

Yum, yum, YUM!  I am a chocolate lovin' kinda girl and this has double chocolate in it!

1 package oreo's, crushed to a fine crumb
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (8oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cold milk
1 (12oz.) tub cool whip, thawed and divided
3 1/4 cups cold milk
2 (4-serving size) packages instant chocolate pudding mix

Place cookies in a food processor, cover and process to form fine crumbs.  Transfer to a medium bowl.  Add melted butter and mix well.  Press firly onto the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish.  Refrigerate 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk with a wire whisk until well blended.  Stir in 1 1/4 cups of cool whip.  Spread over crust.
Pour 3 1/4 cups milk into a large bowl.  Add dry pudding mixes.  Beat with whisk for 2 minutes or until well blended.  Spoon evenly over cream cheese layer.  Let stand 5 minutes or until thickened.  Spread remaining cool whip over pudding layer.
Refrigerate at least 4 hours.  To serve, cut into squares.  Store any leftovers in fridge.

**If you're not in the mood for chocolate, this can be made with peanut butter as well.  All you need to do is substitute the chocolate pudding mix for vanilla pudding mix and add 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter to pudding mixture.
